Today started out good, then got bad, and ended the way it should. Going to church and remembering who is really in charge and what He did for us. Good Friday is not the beginning of the end, but the beginning of the beginning. He died for our sins, so that we could worship Him. He gives us life and purpose to love Him. So many times we get wrapped up in situations that are hard, or even painful, that we forget our purpose. He taught us the way to handle life's little problems and to rejoice in the true meaning of our mission while we live in this world, but not of this world.
My journey to simplicity is also a journey of learning to live according to what I have heard in the Word. That spiritual simplicity; that living life within His teaching; learning to give it to Him. That is probably the best goal in learning to live a simple life.
